| Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Delta and Electron over the telephone and in store. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax or snail mail. When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable. Changes to Your Order You can email changes to orders@brendasschoolwear.com. Changes can only be made if your request is answered before your order is processed. Once your order is processed or shipped, no changes can be made. Product Representation We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colors of our products that appear on the Site. We cannot guarantee that your computer monitor's display of any color will be accurate. |
| Shipping And Handling All items are packed in strong, secure mailing sacks with extra padding where required. Standard postage and packaging costs are £3.50 for all orders up to £40.00 and £6.95 for orders over £40.00 Items that are returned for refund or exchange must be in re-saleable as new condition, any item that does not adhere to these standards are subject to a 20% handling fee. Our postage, packing and handling charges are just that. They are not a postage cost but do include the cost of the postage. Packing materials, mailing bags, tape, labels etc all contribute towards the packaging costs. Retrieving your order, processing payments etc are all covered by the handling costs. Our charges are worked out using industry standard cost breaks and are also a result of our research of postage and packaging costs over the period of the last 12-18 months. From time to time there will be small orders that even if we are to follow our own charges to the letter do not warrant the full handing charge. In these circumstances we use our discretion to reduce charges acordingly. We believe our policy and charges are fair and transparent. |
| Delivery Schedule All orders are dispatched within 3-5 working days unless an item is out of stock, in which case we will notify you via telephone or email of expected delivery dates/times. We do aim though to dispatch most orders the same day they are received. |
| Back Orders If your item is not in stock, you have the option of us back ordering it for you. You will be emailed or telephoned with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait. Product Availability All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. From time to time we may run out of a particular style, color or size and we make our best attempt to accurately reflect current stock availability on the Site. | Credit Card Security Currently no credit or debit card details are passed or taken through our website, orders are made online and then payment is taken over the telephone as a mail order purchase. Systems are currently being put in place to provide a secure online payment processing facility. |
| Guarantee We guarantee your satisfaction. We will exchange or refund any products returned to us in as new saleable condition. We will refund, exchange or repair where necessary and faulty garment or item. Your statutory rights are not affected. |
